August 2010 Dear parents, Thank you for sharing with us your child's snack preferences for the ‘shared snack’ experience. Based on that information, we will create the snack menus. If the menu includes fruits, we will propose two different types of fruits in order to alternate them throughout the week. We want to inform you that every day the children will have a snack bar where to choose from. It will include fruit, grain (cereals, bread, crackers, granola...), or dairy (yogurt, cheese). They can choose one or more servings of each one. Each week two families are in charge of the snack for the class. One family is to bring it on Monday, and the other one on Wednesday, to make sure the perishable food is as fresh as possible. The shared snack experience will start next week, Tuesday, September 7, 2010. The snack schedule for the school year is as follows: Sept 07 – Sept 10: Alexandra and Annabella We will inform you each month's menu the last week of the previous month. * L’Atelier is a nut-free school.
